“If a child can`t learn the way we teach maybe we should teach the way they learn” Ignacio Estrada

Our mission is to support each individual to achieve their best potential.

At Happy Sprouts we focus on supporting each individual to sprout and grow into their own individuality, become independent and be part of the community.  We work with a range of learners who require support that also have other developmental disabilities. We support our young learners (early intervention) right up to adulthood.

Happy Sprouts specialises in individualised behaviour support strategies, tailored for each and every one of our learners in order to reach their full potential.  By using the principles of behaviour analysis our goal is to decrease behaviours that challenge and teach meaningful replacement behaviours as well as a functional method of communication.

Our goal is to build up and increase the skills our learners need and have. Some of the skills we are working on but not limited to:

  • Functional communication system ( vocal speech, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), sign language and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device)
  • Imitation skills ( imitation is the first step in a learners development of language and other skills)
  • Play and social-skills
  • Self-help skills ( toilet training, eating, washing, dressing/undressing, desensitization to different sounds, textures, locations, hair cutting/nail cutting, etc.)
  • School ready skills and academics

Happy Sprouts is providing face to face services across Cambridgeshire and North-West London while also providing telehealth to families living in further areas.
